Project Summary
Lutheran Hope Cambodia Organization (LHCO), in partnership with the Japan Evangelical Lutheran Association (JELA), distributes 300 solar lanterns to community members in Pursat, Battambang, and Kampong Speu provinces, Cambodia. The use of solar lanterns provides multiple benefits including enabling children to study at night, reducing households' reliance on kerosene and wood for lighting, and allowing healthcare workers to attend to patients during evening hours. This initiative contributes to improved living conditions, enhanced safety, and better access to education and basic services, ultimately improving the overall well-being of the community.
