LHCO Conducts Annual Program Orientation 2026

[English below] អង្គការក្តីសង្ឃឹមលូថេរ៉ានកម្ពុជា រៀបចំកសិក្ខាសាលាតម្រង់ទឹសប្រចាំឆ្នាំ ២០២៦ របស់ខ្លួន ចាប់ពីថ្ងៃទី ០៣ ដល់ ០៦ ខែមីនា ឆ្នាំ ២០២៦ នៅសណ្ឋាគារ Poulo Wai។ សិក្ខាសាលាតម្រង់ទិសនេះ មានការចូលរួមពីបុគ្គលិកទាំងអស់ និងផ្តោតលើផ្នែកសំខាន់ៗ រួមមានប្រតិបត្តិការកម្មវិធីរបស់អង្គការ( Program Operations) ការទំនាក់ទំនង និងបច្ចេកវិទ្យាព័ត៌មានវិទ្យា(Communication and IT) ការត្រួតពិនិត្យ និងវាយតម្លៃ (M&E) និងធ្វើបច្ចុប្បន្នភាពពីកម្មវិធី និងការផ្តួចផ្តើមកម្មវិធីថ្មីៗ។ បុគ្គលិកកម្មវិធីក៏បានពិនិត្យ និងបង្កើនការយល់ដឹងរបស់ពួកគេឡើងវិញអំពីគោលនយោបាយ គោលការណ៍ណែនាំ ដើម្បីធានាបាននូវការអនុវត្តគម្រោងប្រកបដោយប្រសិទ្ធភាព និងស៊ីសង្វាក់គ្នា។ លើសពីនេះ សិក្ខាសាលានេះបានផ្តល់ឱកាសដើម្បីចែករំលែក និងពិនិត្យឡើងវិញនូវយុទ្ធសាស្ត្រគៀរគរធនធាន (Fundraising Strategy) និងផែនការសកម្មភាព (Action Plan)។ ជាលទ្ធផលសិក្ខាសាលានេះ បានផ្តល់នូវការយល់ដឹងកាន់តែច្បាស់ទិសដៅយុទ្ធសាស្ត្រ និងការអនុវត្តកម្មវិធីរបស់អង្គការសម្រាប់ឆ្នាំខាងមុខ។ ------------- From 03–06 March 2026, the Lutheran Hope Cambodia Organization (LHCO) organized Workshop on Annual Program Orientation at Poulo Wai Hotel. The orientation brought together all staff members to strengthen coordination, enhance knowledge, and ensure a shared understanding of the organization’s strategic direction for the year ahead. The program focused on key areas including organizational operations, communication and Information Technology, Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E), and updates on current and newly developed project and program approaches. Participants also reviewed and refreshed their understanding of relevant policies, guidelines, and operational manuals to ensure effective and consistent project implementation. LHCO and Mission Alliance Host Inspiring Youth Exchange and Field Visit in Phnom Penh

1,281 Families Receive Emergency Assistance from ACT Alliance and LHCO

Support was delivered based on identified needs: • 250 families received USD 60 of Multipurpose Cash Transfer (MPC), Non-Food Items, Shelter and WASH related items. • 450 families received USD 60 of MPC, Non-Food and WASH related items. • 581 families received USD 60 of MPC. This assistance was made possible with funding support from ACT Alliance and was implemented by LHCO in close collaboration with local authorities and other stakeholders. ACT Forum Cambodia Meeting

Internal PGS Inspection of Agroecological Vegetable Producer Groups- Article by: Kakada Nhoeng

Based on the safety standards established by the cooperative, the inspection focused on eight key areas: the use of vegetable seeds, farm preparation, cropping systems, fertilizer application, irrigation, pest control, post-harvest management, and gender promotion. A total of 13 participants (including 6 women) took part in the inspection, comprising commune agricultural officers, vegetable collectors, local authorities, the internal inspection team, AC committee members, Lutheran Hope Cambodia Organization (LHCO), and the Farmers and Nature Network (FNN). Since March 2025, LHCO and FNN have been implementing the Fostering Agroecological System to Table (FAST) project in collaboration with the Svay Meanchey Strey Samaky Agriculture Cooperative. School Trade Fair on Food Processing

The event was honored by the presence of Her Excellency Markéta Kolc Hájková, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to the Kingdom of Cambodia; Mr. Ondrej Cakl, Senior Project Coordinator of Diakonie ČCE; Mrs. Thay Bone, Executive Director of LHCO; along with representatives from NGOs, the Royal University of Agriculture, and more than 270 participants, including teachers and students from five schools. The objective of the fair was to showcase and promote food-processing products developed by students from the five target schools: 1. Cambodia-Japan Friendship High School Samaki Meanchey 2. Hun Sen Kraing Sram High School 3. Hun Sen Teuk Phos High School 4. Hun Sen Samrong High School 5. Hun Sen Anlong Chrey High School The event also served as a platform for participants to exchange knowledge and experiences. The trade fair is one of the key activities of the project aimed at strengthening life skills among high school students in Kampong Speu and Kampong Chhnang provinces. Visit of ELCA and JELC

Mr. UENO Atsushi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the Kingdom of Cambodia, Mr. Furuya Shiro, Chairperson of the JELA Foundation in Japan, Dr. Lowell Gretbeck, Advisor of JELA Foundation, and Mrs. Thay Bone, Executive Director of LHCO. More than 1,000 participants, including students, teachers, parents, local authorities, NGOs staff, and stakeholders, joined to celebrate this new achievement. With support from JELA Foundation, this school construction project was implemented by LHCO in collaboration with teachers, the commune councils, and the Office of Education, Youth and Sport of Kravanh District. With the support of the KUSANONE Grant Project, the Government of Japan provided approximately US$92,000, upon the request of the Lutheran Hope Cambodia Organization. The project aims to promote children’s right to access quality education. It brings hope for improving the lives of people in rural communities — especially benefiting the students and teachers of Kul Totueng Primary School.

Visit to JELA Foundation for the New Achievement at the Community Preschool in Daun Chon Village

នៅថ្ងៃទី២០ ខែតុលា ឆ្នាំ២០២៥ អង្គការក្តីសង្ឃឹមលូថេរ៉ានកម្ពុជា បានរៀបចំទស្សនកិច្ចសម្រាប់មូលនិធិចេឡាទៅកាន់សាលាមត្តេយ្យសិក្សាសហគមន៍ថ្មីមួយ ឋិតក្នុងភូមិដូនជន់ ឃុំតាសាល ស្រុកឱរ៉ាល់ ខេត្តកំពង់ស្ពឺ។ សាលាមតេ្តយ្យសិក្សានេះ នាំមកនូវក្តីសង្ឃឹមសម្រាប់សហគមន៍នៅក្នុងភូមិចំនួន២ ដែលអាចមានកុមារចំនួនប្រមាណ៣០នាក់នឹងបានចូលរៀន។។ ជាមួយគ្នានេះ អង្គការក្តីសង្ឃឹមលូថេរ៉ានកម្ពុជា និង មូលនិធិចេឡា តែងតែផ្តល់នូវការលើកទឹកចិត្ត ជម្រុញកុមារអោយមានឱកាសចូលរៀនសូត្រ ដើម្បីទទួលបានគុណភាពអប់រំនៅតាមសហគមន៍ជនបទ។ យើងជឿជាក់ថាការទទួលបានគុណភាពអប់រំ នឹងនាំកុមារឱ្យមានអនាគតល្អ។ ----------------------- On 20 October 2025, The Lutheran Hope Cambodia Organization (LHCO) organized a visit to the JELA Foundation for the new achievement at the community preschool in Daun Chon village, Ta Sal commune, Oral district, Kampong Speu province. This preschool brings hope to the communities in two villages, helping to increase the enrollment of around 30 children. Together, JELA and LHCO are committed to providing quality education in rural communities by encouraging and motivating children to learn. We believe that a good education builds a brighter future for every child.
