Where We Work

Since 2011, LHCO has completed the Integrated Rural Development through Empowerment Programme and the Self Reliance Programme with four main components: 1). Good Governance and Social Accountability, 2). Livelihood Development, 3). Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change, and 4). Organizational Development. In 2020, LHCO finished Strategic Plan 2015-2020 programme document Phase I focused on the Empowerment toward Self-Reliance Program, and Phase 2 focused on the Livelihood Enhancement Actions Program 2018-2020. LHCO is currently implementing the Strategic Plan 2021-2026. LHCO has identified five inter-related and mutually reinforcing the programme themes to empower poor communities and support organizational outcomes. LHCO's programme approach involves five key components in developing, facilitating, and implementing the work with rural poor communities and households, community-based organizations, and government structures.

Phnom Penh

The National Office is located at #1065, Street 56R, Tuol Thngnan Village, Sangkat Tuol SangKe2, Khan Russey Keo, Phnom Penh, Cambodia. It implements in 03 Sangkats, 02 Khans: Pur Senchey and Preak Pnov.

Kompong Spue Province

ADO-KPS was established in 1996. It is located in Anlong Chrey Village, Prambei Mum Commune, Thpong District, Kampong Speu Province. KPS-ADO implemented in 157 villages, 19 communes in 06 districts of Odong, Kong Pisei, Baseth, Aoral, Thpong and Phnum Sruoch.

Battambang Province

ADO-BTB was established in 1996. It is located in Tumnob Tuek village, Bavel commune, Bavel district, Battambang province. BTB-ADO implemented in 29 villages, 3 communes, 2 districts of Bavel and Phnum Proek.

Target beneficiaries

Poor farmers, landless and land-poor families, female-headed householders, illiterate adults and youth, women groups, people with disabilities and disadvantaged children.
