Project Summary
Governance and Rural Action for Community Empowerment (GRACE) is a 03-year project. It seeks to address persistent challenges related to agriculture, climate resilience, and peacebuilding in Battambang, Pursat, Kampong Chhnang, Kampong Speu, and Prey Veng. Findings from previous assessments identified three major issues affecting the target communities: (i) agricultural and livelihood constraints, (ii) the impacts of climate change and disaster-related risks, and (iii) continued needs for peacebuilding and reconciliation. The project is designed to address these interconnected challenges through holistic, community-based development approaches. Key Project Objectives
Objective 1: To improve the livelihoods of smallholder farmers in rural communities.
Objective 2: Vulnerable community people, youths, and schoolchildren are resilient to cope with disasters and climate change impacts.
Objective 3: To improve community harmonization for development and peace.
