Project Summary

The Women Entrepreneurship for Sustainable Agriculture Cooperative (WE-SAC) project aims to strengthen the leadership, entrepreneurship, and business capacity of Bour Agricultural Cooperative and its members, especially women entrepreneurs.

By enhancing production, financial management, and market access, the project seeks to increase profitability and build sustainable value chains.

Key activities include upgrading the cooperative's collective center, promoting product quality and branding, and improving market linkages. Implemented in Bour commune, Phnom Proek district, WE-SAC focuses on the economic empowerment of women and the long-term growth of the cooperative.

Key Project Objectives
Objective 1: Improved institutional capacity of Bour Agriculture Cooperative and producer groups.
Objective 2: Strengthened inclusive market system and distribution.
Overarching Goal
To empower women entrepreneurs and strengthen the Bour Agricultural Cooperative by building capacity in leadership, entrepreneurship, and business management, ultimately improving production, profitability, and market access for sustainable economic growth.
