Lutheran Hope Cambodia Organization (LHCO) organized a Participatory Assessment of Climate and Disaster Risks (PACDR) Training for Trainees Workshop from 17–21 August 2026 in Aoral District, Kampong Speu Province. Supported by Bread for the World (BfdW), the workshop was facilitated by Mr. Deepak Sharma and Mr. Eike Zaumseil.


Participants were applied to PACDR tools, concepts, modules, exercises, and practical applications. The workshop aimed to strengthen their capacity to facilitate PACDR processes in their respective communities. Trainees represented KDC, Mlup Baitong, Morodok, SADP, and LHCO.
During the following four days, participants practiced using PACDR tools in Peam Village, Sangke Satob Commune, Aoral District. Through presentations, group discussions, and consultations with villagers, the village chief, and producer group members, trainees gained hands-on experience in facilitating participatory assessments and identifying climate and disaster risks at the community level.
