On September 22–23, 2026, the IMPACT Project team of the Lutheran Hope Cambodia Organization (LHCO), funded by Mission Alliance, in collaboration with the Department and Ministry of Agriculture, conducted a field visit and assessment of actual vegetable farming in the local community.

The main objectives of this activity are to:

  • Review the actual implementation of the 16 farming households in accordance with the Cambodia Good Agricultural Practices (Cam-GAP) principles, following the training they previously received.
  • Assess their qualifications to prepare for registration and the issuance of Cam-GAP certificates, which will help increase market confidence.
  • Promote agricultural products in terms of quantity, quality, safety, and price through recognized standards.

This project is supporting farmers in the Amleang and Veal Pon agricultural communities to promote sustainable agriculture.
