On 25 August 2026, the IMPACT Project of Lutheran Hope Cambodia Organization, in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Kampong Speu Province, organized a one-day Business Matching Forum between Communities and Relevant Stakeholders at the Aoral District Meeting Hall, with financial support from Mission Alliance Cambodia.
The forum brought together 52 participants, including 21 women. Participants included representatives of producer groups from six agricultural cooperatives in Aoral District, four buyers from local and external markets, an agricultural clinic company, and other relevant stakeholders.
More than simply bringing people together, the forum created meaningful connections and real market opportunities. Community groups and producers gained a clearer understanding of market demands while discussing product quality, quantity, supply capacity, and purchasing conditions. The event also opened pathways for future collaboration with buyers and business partners.
This forum represents another important step for the IMPACT–LHCO Project in supporting communities to shift from producing based on capacity to producing based on market demand, while building stronger, more connected, and sustainable agricultural value chains.
